This was out first proposal for the Division of Mutant Vehicles for Burning man 2025.
This is a very crude sketch of the new rear end of the Bugaboo 2 where people can sit and enjoy the view and the ride. We will reuse this but add new fabric and a LED cape over the top for shade and fun. We are adding little legs and feet to each side so it looks like he is flying. Also, lots of LED lights of course, so many lights.
We decided to go 3D look with a different face on a different all electric base vehicle. The carving is done , now wrapping with the first coat of fiberglass. Next is the painting and the adding of the LEDs.
This was a temp set up for our lead’s birthday party but pre-painted. It will look so much more fun, soon.
This was loading her up on the trailer before Burning man 2025. We swapped out the existing eight lead batteries for a lithium one that lasts longs, is smaller and weighs less but tragedy stuck and something happened to the main computer board. We could not get her running.
This is far as we got. Could never get her running due to the computer board failure. What a bummer but crap happens.
April 12, 2026 We are working on the final touches: LED mohawk, black light reactive legs, fabric for the body and the black lights mounted all around for the night glow effect.
